The Gallery takes up most of this rather imposing Victorian terraced building on Victoria Road.

Built about 150 years ago in the same arrangement, the lower floor possibly being intended for some sort of commercial use as a shop or office, with its own main entrance being at the rear.

To enter there is a door on the street which leads through a little vennel to the rear, where there is a gate to its own private walled garden and the main door of the house.

The lovely original (covered) external staircase takes you up to the two floors of the house, the top of which is fully glazed to three directions, almost like a lighthouse.

The first floor is the sleeping floor, beautifully furnished throughout, with shutters on every window giving it a really snug feeling. There is also an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom and a full family bathroom this floor, both of course with fabulous sea views. 

The master bedroom has a king size bed, the two others being twin rooms.

Upstairs, at the top of the lighthouse staircase, you enter the open living space.  Here there is a modern high gloss white galley kitchen, fully fitted out with dishwasher, microwave, over and hob, washer/dryer and all the usual stuff for a fully functioning kitchen.

There is a large dining table with lots of seating - for up to eight - and a full length opening Juliet type window for the full sea breeze effect. The sitting space is at the other end of this space, slightly separated by the pod bathroom in the middle, here is seating, TV/DVD and another full length Juliet style window which you can throw open and enjoy the smells and sounds just as if you are actually on the beach. The house is also fully equipped for those with gadgets, having wifi and internet televison for those who still need to keep in-touch with the outside world.

The walled garden is private to No.18, with clothes drying facilities,  a patio area with a large table and chairs for outside dining, plenty space to barbeque and a log cabin.
